Derek Crots

CEO

Derek Crots is a South African insurance risk specialist and a marketing and insurance entrepreneur. He is the chairperson of the FIA in the North West province and serves the broker community with passion and integrity.

Derek began handling the responsibility of inventories for clients in 1996 at a Corporate Brokerage, and in the process learned the value of having a detailed and up to date inventory, particularly when a client had a claim and had to provide proof of ownership of all items that were stolen, lost or damaged. It was this reason that Derek founded Silent Wolf’s Software ” Blue ” which is an application that makes it easier for clients to keep track of their valuable assets as well as the proof of ownership when acquiring those assets. As an experienced broker, Derek urges all brokers to provide clarity to their clients in the issue of proof of ownership and explaining the value of updating the client’s inventory.

Through ” Blue “, Derek’s confidence in putting the clients’ needs first continues to prosper in enabling brokers to give the best advice to their clients. Furthermore, ” Blue ” serves as a new technology system that makes the process of a claim painless and also protects the clients and the insurers against fraudulent claims.

Melodee Crots possess a passion for the insurance industry. She has thus far, accumulated more than 16 years of experience within the industry and this has enabled her to acquire skills in the administrative side of serving the broker community and underwriters for over 15 years. Therefore, Melodee is a claim and administrative expert.

Danie and Rina Vogel have been appointed as directors of Silent Wolf and Communication Technologies while also being directors of their own private company. However, they possess skills that reflect their responsibilities and these will be necessary to ensure an upward movement within the company.

Rian Vogel

Marketing Director

Rian Vogel has also been appointed as a director while also being a director of his own construction company. Having his own business has taught him the ins and outs of a business, thus enabling him to acquire skills that have been of good use to the Silent Wolf company. Rian’s responsibility includes focusing on meeting and serving the broker community.

Nomfundo Biyela

IT Consultant

Nomfundo Biyela is a dedicated programmer and currently a student at NWU. She possesses a passion for the Arts which allows her to be creative in most aspects. She wishes to grow with the company and in the process acquire more skills in the technological aspect of the environment.
